Cats Camp

During the day campers will enjoy themed activities both on and off the ice and have a daily lesson learning the skills from their level. There will be plenty of open skating to practice what they are learning and rest and recover time to regroup after playing hard.

Campers are divided by age and ability levels to maximize skill development and socialization. At the end of the week campers will WOW with a demonstration for their Mama and Papa-ratzi, or any other friends and family who want to come watch!

Camp runs most Mondays-Fridays throughout the summer. Camp hours are 9am to 3pm daily.

What to Eat During Camp

Baptist Health IcePlex has three food service options within the building, including a Grab N Go, a full service Concession Stand, and a full service restaurant. While we will offer options for box snacks and lunches, we also allow campers to pack their own food as needed to accommodate special dietary restrictions. Please ask us about our box lunch program.

Checking In/Out and After Care

Start and end times are INCLUSIVE of drop-off and pick up times. No one will be available before the start of camp to supervise early campers.

We do offer after care.

Add-on after-care from 3pm-5pm for $30/day.
Any camper who is not picked up on time will have an extra $30 charge added to their account.
We do not staff past 5pm.

What to Wear

During the day campers will be both on and off the ice so it is a good idea to dress them in light, flexible layers. Off the ice, we will be running and jumping, so please have them wear athletic shoes to camp. Weather permitting, we will go outside. Be sure to send your camper with what t they will need to be in the sun.

Please send your camper with:

  • An All-Sport Compression helmet (bicycle helmets are great)
  • Jacket, socks and gloves for the ice
  • Enough food and drink to sustain them throughout the day (ask us about our available food and beverage options)
  • A change of clothes, as needed

Details about your camper’s daily schedule will be sent out prior to the first day of camp.
